How
To Find
The Port O'Leith Bar
The
Port O'Leith Bar is at 58 Constitution Street in Leith, Edinburgh's
port. The area is well worth a visit with many of Edinburgh's best
deli's, bars and restaurants located here. The quayside along 'The
Shore' is a great spot on sunny evenings.

If
you're a stranger to Edinburgh, the best way to get to Leith is
to take a cab from the city centre which will cost you about £8.
Most cab drivers know the Port O'Leith bar well !
The
more energetic can walk from the east end of Edinburgh city centre
by taking 'Leith Walk' all the way to the 'Foot o'the Walk'.
Carry
straight on into Constitution Street and the bar is on the left
hand side about 100 metres past Leith Police Station.
Many
buses can get you to the foot of Leith Walk, but the no.16 will
take you along Constitution Street until about 19.30 in the evening.
After that time, take the 22a . You can catch these in 'Princes
Street' or 'Leith Walk'. Get off at the first stop after the bus
has turned left into Bernard Street and walk back up Constitution
Street about 100 metres.
We
have included a location
map of the Leith area. The local time in Edinburgh is 12:03 am
(thats 002 in "Swatch Internet Time" for
those that give a toss!). Here's what weather we're suffering, just
in case you feel like coming down:

Don't
worry about getting home - there are several local, metered taxi
services in the area which the barstaff will be happy to phone for
you.
