Messages
are posted and threaded by subject. If you wish to start
a new topic of discussion, post this as a new subject. If
you want to comment on an existing subject, view that thread and
post a follow-up message. Please try to keep language within
acceptable bounds - if you were in the bar swearing your head
off at the top of your voice you'd probably be asked to leave.
On this message board you will be deleted.
HTML
code is the language web pages are written in. You can use html
tags in the body of the message to 'liven' up the message (insert
images, links etc.). Your html mark-ups within the body
of the message will appear in the posting. Entered in any
other field, they will be thrown out. Unless you know what
you're doing it's best to avoid using this. You can however,
enter a link URL (and description) which will appear at the end
of your message. This should be the complete URL beginning
with http://....... You can also specify a link to an image
file (on your own web site or anywhere else). The image
will appear at the start of your message.
The
easiest way to add these links is to browse to the page you want
to link to, copy the URL to the clipboard and then paste it into
the posting form. Most images can be 'right-clicked' and
the URL of the image copied to the clipboard and then pasted in
the same way.
Colons
appear in the message dialog box when you try to follow-up up
on a message to indicate that those lines are quoting the previous
message. You can modify the quoted message and just
leave the relevant bits, or enter your comments at the appropriate
places.
Your
post most likely did not show up because your browser did not
reload the page, it simply pulled it out of cache. Please reload
your browser (use the 'refresh' button) and it should then appear.
