That's all folks!

The last section of easter99 tells me it's time to hang up the mouse for a good while.
Bought a thick expensive book about FP98 today, and lost the plot by page 37.
All I ever wanted to do was put a bit writing on the internet.
Well - that's been knocked ootie me by all this technology.

Microsoft applications insist on no original thought. It would only get in the way. You just have to be good at following instructions and filling things in. It's like John Hurt describing the making of Alien. "With a massive set like that, you dont act, you behave."

To Joe and Sandra - I did reply to your email - three times.
Maybe the silence is your reply.

Went to Edinburgh today - the second time this year. Strange it was seeing all those people, and not knowing any of them. Two little girls got shouted at at windy bus stops by their mothers. One was called Chelsea, and the other one Chantelle.

The young man in the bookshop looked very uncomfortable selling me the FP98 book. I'm sure he was wanting (kindly) to tell me it would be much too difficult for a man with white in his beard, and that the Teletubby section was second on the left, past DICK FRANCIS IN LARGE PRINT.

Met Scott and Stuart today. Said one sentence in ten minutes, and Stuart talked all through it. It was the first time we'd spoken for three weeks. I think this is called getting out and meeting people.

Loads of site traffic yesterday - even a US "educational institute". Funny how they circle like vultures.
