A selection of pieces from the later part of the year.

We're aware that the second half normally begins with July, but there was a more natural gap this way. Plus the word normal is only nominally in our vocabulary.

The thread beginning with June99 details my adventures in my new job, an employment I first worked in a couple of years ago, but left to attempt (in vain as it turned out) something different.

All names are of course changed, as are some of the events, in the strict interests of readability.
