Planning Application for Tarbolton Scheme

Ayrshire Housing has just submitted planning and building warrant applications for a 30 unit project at Croft Street, Tarbolton. It is close to an existing popular Ayrshire Housing scheme.

The site is being acquired from local housebuilder Hope Homes as a condition of their planning consent  for 127 new houses for sale. South Ayrshire Council expects housebuilders to make ground available for affordable housing in the majority of new developments.

Ayrshire Housing is negotiating with Hope Homes to build the 30 houses to ensure that the work is integrated with its own building activities. This approach builds on two previous contracts with Hope Homes for projects in Dalrymple and Maybole.

Subject to satisfactory funding arrangements with the Scottish Government, work will start early in the New Year.

The scheme is designed by Lawrence McPherson Associates of Ayr.

  1. I would love to move back to Tarbolton! I had to sell my house as I split from my husband and now wish to return as my family are there. ! am a mum of 3 and love the village so much.
