Planning Application for Gardenrose, Maybole

December 5, 2007 | 2 comments

Ayrshire Housing has just submitted a planning application for a 20 house development off Queen’s Terrace, Maybole.

South Ayrshire Council has agreed to sell the site to Ayrshire Housing for affordable rented housing. The site was originally acquired by the former Maybole Burgh Council alongside the development of the last major Council scheme in the town at Gardenrose.

The Architects are MAST who are based in Glasgow and have three decades of experience of designing for housing associations and their tenants.

Comments

  1. Why haven’t the houses being built as stated?

  2. The site is owned by SAC and we are hopeful that we can come to an agreement to purchase the site this financial year. Subject to this and funding approval from the Scottish Government we anticipate starting on site in 2009/10.

What do you think?
